A New Level of Self-Acceptance - imkb Newsletter 2.15.22

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in, so I wanted to send you some mail! Things are amping up over here and I'm about to launch a bunch of new programs, materials, and BRAND (sneak peek with the new logo above) so stay tuned for updates. YAY!

Anyway, that’s not why I’m popping in! This past week, I was in a very enlightening conversation around self-acceptance, and I wanted to keep it going, because this topic is very important.

I went live on Instagram the other day to share my story about a recent breakdown/breakthrough I had about this, and I'd love for you to check it out. Basically, I’ve had some unexplainable hip pain for a couple months, and while trying to heal it naturally, I became aware that the real problem that was going on IN MY MIND, not my hip. Click on the pic below to check it out!

As you'll see in the video, what I came to discover was some deep conditioning I had solidified in my brain (when I was a teenager) that was preventing me from full acceptance of my body at any given moment.

I noticed that I was always trying to be another way than the way that I AM. There was this seedy undercurrent in my mind that kept telling me “when you are thinner, you are better.”

Even with the YEARS of personal development work under my belt, I still hadn't seen how THIS particular dialogue was running the show for me. And, I have been living at what I thought was an acceptable level self-acceptance up until that point.

But last week, I got to blow it RIGHT out of the water and up my game.

That is why I love this work. We are constantly peeling back the layers to discover ourselves newly.

I've had breakthroughs in self-acceptance before, but not on this level. This one has freed me up SO MUCH, I want to shout it from the rooftops!

I share this with you, because when we remove this kind of "mental clutter", we get to expand MASSIVELY, and live more fulfilled, deeply gratifying lives.

I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on this, because it's a big one, so please reply or share a comment on my post so we can continue the conversation!

And if this is resonating with you, and you're looking to see where you have blindspots regarding your own self-acceptance, PLEASE book a call with me! I have a spot available for private coaching right now, and I'd LOVE to see what we can discover together!
