Got guilt on your mind? This is what happens when we let it run the show.
Ever notice when guilt rears its ugly head? Sometimes it’s so engrained in us that it just runs in the background of our minds and we are constantly reacting to it without even realizing.
I discovered that for myself last week and did a live on it (click on the image to see the full video), but here are the cliff notes.
How often do we end up feeling guilty about something that doesn’t even belong to us? Something that we inherited from our parents? Something society told us we have to feel bad for? Being another way then the way that we are? Saying yes when we really mean no? Not wanting to look bad? Yuck!
Guilt is an emotional form of disease.
It eats away at our brains. It has us compromise a part of ourselves. It makes us hide, and it dims our shine.
When was the last time you came clean about your guilt?
When was the last time you took responsibility for it?
How did you feel? What did you say?
All of these things are important.
Because when we carry around unprocessed guilt, it chips away at our essence.
If you find that you’re holding onto some form of guilt, whether it be because you told a little white lie, you didn’t fulfill on someone else’s expectation of you, or if you didn’t conform to society the way you thought you should, I would love to speak with you about this.
Because the faster we can transmute this guilt, the more abundance and flow we can allow into our lives.
These feelings don’t coexist very well. They cancel each other out. Let’s unravel that, so we can have more freedom to live life on our terms and open up to being fully self-expressed.
Until next time! Or as the Portuguese say, até já!
