Have you ever gotten clear on your WHY? Here's what happens when you do.

Have you ever gotten clear on your why? Last week, I did an Instagram live to share a bit about how I came to discover mine. I’d love for you to click on the photo and a give it a watch.

Let’s be honest, this is not how I imagined my life's trajectory. I did not start out with this huge commitment to make a difference for people as a coach.

In fact, this commitment spawned from years and years of me suffering in my own life, desperately trying to get myself out of my own way.

What I find so amazing about this journey however, is that we never really know why things are brought into our lives when they are, or how much of an impact they will end up making on us. Nothing shows up by chance. Each moment we are presented with brings us to the next place in our journey, no matter how painful or beautiful they may be.

What’s important, is that we use these moments to teach and guide us to what is next in our lives. That we learn how to pivot, flow, and let go of what no longer serves us, so we can step into that new version of ourselves and expand into who we are meant to be.

I am always so fascinated by this...

And I love that I can reflect back on the girl staring at me in the mirror 12 years ago. I remember how ashamed, tired, and resigned she was. She was SO sad. She felt worthless, disgusting and completely unloveable. And despite all that, deep down inside... she had hope. She knew there HAD to be another way. And she made a promise to herself to never stop fighting for access to that happiness.

That girl is my why. Because my journey has taken me from that worthless girl in the mirror to a fierce woman who owns all of who she is and loves herself through all of it. I went against the grain and chose to live a fully created life that I LOVE, outside the status quo. I own my messiness, my mistakes, honor my flaws, and learn my lessons over, and over, and over again. And as a result, I THRIVE.

Most importantly though, I know that change IS POSSIBLE. And I know that if I had the desire for change bubbling inside me, then there are SO many other women out there that ALSO have that desire. And now I am here to walk that journey with them.

It takes a LOT of courage to step up and choose yourself, but I promise, you will NEVER regret it. Even during hard times, there is not ONE day that goes by where I wish I had chosen a different path.

If you’re curious about getting more connected to your why, or are in a place in your life where you are ready for something more and you’re not really sure of where to begin, I’d love to speak with you!

Thanks for reading.
